The Asante Regional branch of the Association of Sports Broadcasters (ASBOG) would on Sunday host the women national team, Black Queens in a special friendly game at the Kumasi Sports Stadium.
The encounter which forms part of the Queens preparation towards their participation in the forth edition of the FIFA version of the Women World Cup is also to raise funds for the Queens.
Gate proceeds for the game is expected to be used to assists the team which needs more than six billion cedis to participate in the event in the United States.
The Queens are expected in Kumasi on Friday where they would have a float through the Garden City on Saturday June 28, aimed at creating awareness in women soccer.
In a related development, the Greater Accra branch of ASBOG would host the Queens at the nations Wembley, Accra Sports Stadium on Tuesday July 1.
