Two match-day-26 fixtures in the Glo Premier League were rained-off on Sunday.

Heavy rains forced the cancellation of the games at the Kpando Park and Dorma Park after leaving the pitches soggy and rendering them unplayable.

Asante Kotoko's hopes of building up their point tally was affected by the rains against Heart of Lions at the water-logged Kpando Park.

The Porcupine Warriors were leading 2-1 in the second half after Gladson Awako had equalised for Lions after Nathaniel Asamoah's opener for Kotoko before Daniel Nii Adjei restored the visitors lead as the rains came pouring.

A victory would have kept Kotoko in second place while delaying Berekum Chelsea's title celebrations but the fixture has now been set for Tuesday at the same venue.

This is the third fixture at Kpando that has been rained off this season after Lions had their match-day-9 and 11 games also suffer from adverse weather conditions.

At Dormaa, Aduana Stars were drawing 1-1 with New Edubiase when the game was called off in the second half.

Bernard Dong Bortey had put the champions in front but Basit Adams drew Edubiase level as both sides would meet again tomorrow.
