Former Black Stars coach Sellas Tetteh has arrived in Rwanda to begin talks of a possible take-over of the national team.

Tetteh, who won the 2009 Fifa Under-20 World Cup, arrived in Rwanda on Tuesday and expected to replace Eric Nhsimiyimana, Kickoffghana.com reveals.

He has been released by his club, Liberty Professionals, to negotiate with officials of the Rwanda Football Federation.

Tetteh was in charge of Ghana's Under-20 team which won the Africa Youth Championship in Rwanda last year and served as assistant Black Stars coach from 2006-2008.

He guided the Black Stars in four matches as interim-head coach in the first phase of the 2010 joint Nations Cup/World Cup qualifiers
