Robert Aziamakpor scored 42 points to win this year's Standard Chartered Bank (Stanchart) golf championship played at the Achimota Golf Course in Accra on Saturday.
He played 21 in and 21 out to beat a field of over 100 participants in the one-day 18-hole stableford competition to lift the trophy for the first time.
J.B. Chang came second with 40 points, Paul List was third with 39 points, beating Allen Trent on count back, while Mawuli Ababio placed fifth with 38 points, beating Kweku Okyere on countback.
Rose Ayivor won the Ladies event with 39 points, Valentine Manteaw came second with 38 points, while Beatrice Vetch-Bempong took the third position with 36 points, beating Victoria Apomasu and Helen Swanepoel on count back.
Mr Sammy L. Adetola, Vice Captain of the Achimota Golf Club praised the bank for their contributions towards the development of the sport.
Mr Ebenezer Essoka, Managing Director of the bank assisted by Mr Adetola presented the prizes to the winners.
