Farewell game for Major Tong

On Sunday, the best form of soccer is expected to rock the Prisons Park in Cantonments, Accra, as four teams battle in a farewell game for a high profile US Embassy official, Major Tong.

Four teams namely -Bahmed XI, Sunday Stars, Senegal XI and Oppong XI will battle for supremacy in games scheduled to honour Major Tong, who has finished his three-year duty with the US Embassy in Ghana.

According to the Chief Executive Officer of Bahmed Travel and Tours, organizers of the competition -Alhaji Ahmed Bandoh at stake will be attractive prizes.

Expected to grace the occasion are high profile persons like the Deputy US Ambassador Sue K. Brown, officials from the Australian and Italian Embassies, Imams, the acting CEO of the National Sports Council Mr. Worlanyo Agrah, FA President Mr. Kwesi Nyantakyi, his vice Fred Pappoe and Mr. Kofi Nsiah, FA General Secretary among others.
