William Thompson AS PART of efforts to maintain their position at the apex of the league ladder, Hearts of Oak are on the brink of registering more experienced and quality players to revamp their already winsome squad.
DAILY GUIDE SPORTS gathered that the runaway league leaders are almost through with regard to registering about three decent players before the league resumes on March 11 this year.
Prominent among the penciled players, a source hinted, is former Kumasi Asante Kotoko intelligent stopper William Thompson aka 'Agaa Willie', who is said to be training with the Phobians currently.
Thompson who has so far lived up to expectation, is reportedly pleased with the offer placed on the table by Hearts and that barring any last-minute hitch he would append his signature to paper to feature for the league leaders.
The source disclosed further that Hearts are also seriously working around the clock to get all documents needed to be able to register their former playmaker Don Bortey and one other former player of the team.
