Tigo / Cowbell health walk today

Takoradi, the capital of the Western Region is fast becoming a major hub of commercial activity with the presence of a large number of industry and service organisations. 

This has resulted in the presence of a sizeable white-collar working class; young career people. These young career people often experience substantial amounts of stress which threatens their health and well-being and they therefore require exercise as a major part of their lifestyle.

It is to promote this vital lifestyle of exercise that Cowbell and Tigo have decided to partner to bring the health walk to the Takoradi city.

The health walk, begins at 7am, from the Takoradi Sports Club through Market Circle, Paa Grant RoundAbout, Effienkwanta Hospital, Sekondi Beach Rd Gyandu park and back to the Takoradi Sports Club.

Back at the Takoradi Sports Club there will be involves free Medical screening/check up, a health & nutrition tips session and a business networking time.

Cowbell, as a brand that seeks to promote healthy lifestyles is proud to be associated first of all with the celebration of the Ga people and also with the sport of cycling.

The event presents a unique opportunity to promote two things considered to be extremely important in the development of any group of people: tradition and sports.

It is the hope of PGL that this maiden Health walk will serve as a good prelude to bigger mass sporting events in the future as a way of promoting a lifestyle of exercise in Takoradi and the Western region at large.

Cowbell is supporting the Health walk to the tune of GH¢5,000 and this will include free refreshment for all patrons of the walk with the refreshing, energy-giving Cowbell Choco-malt and Malt-milk, t-shirts, giveaway items and other logistics.
