DEDE'S PEAKING AT THE RIGHT TIME Ghana's Under-20 captain,Andre Dede Ayew,has agreed a one-year contract extension at French Ligue 1 side Olympique Marseille.
The 18-year-old's contract was expected to expire at the end of 2010 but he wil stay till the end of the 2011 season at the Stade Velodrome.
Dede, son of football legend,Abedi Ayew Pele, has been impressive form as loanee at Lorient still the Ligue 1.
He scored a goal at the weekend to help Lorient get a 1-1 draw away to Sochaux.
"Moving to Lorient has been good for me personal and the contract renewal is a testimony and they want me back," Dede told Ghanasoccernet.com
"It means they are expecting me back after the loan deal and that is good news to hear.
"I'm just 18,I shouldn't forget about that.I started every early-I think in the Marseille squad I was the youngest to play Champions League.
"This move has helped me become a more consistent player.From what I have realized in this six-seven games,when you play regularly it's not like coming on in 10 to 15 minutes.
"When the I get back to the highest level,I will get used to playing 90 minutes and stuff now that I have this opportunity."
