Maidens seek Cameroonian win

The Black Maidens would have to forget their defeat to Nigeria as the search for the two qualifying places at the first ever FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup continues on Saturday in Accra.

Ghana would host Cameroon in the second match of the three-nation qualifying series at the Ohene Djan Stadium.

After last week's 4-2 away defeat to Nigeria, the Black Maidens can revive their qualifying hopes for one of Africa's two places at the World Cup to be hosted by New Zealand.

And ahead of Saturday's game, Black Maidens coach, Abraham Allotey is confident of Ghana's chances as he tries to secure a win to enhance the team's chances of sealing one of the qualifying places.

Ghana, with no point lies at the bottom of the table.

Nigeria stay top while Cameroon occupies the second position on the three-team table.

Africa's qualifiers have been narrowed down to three teams with all attempting to pick one of the two places.

The World Cup will be hosted by New Zealand from October 30 to November 16, 2008.
