Appiah In Italy For Further Test

Injured Black Stars skipper, Stephen Appiah, has flown to Italy for further tests on his ailing knee.Sources close to the player told the Daily Graphic that Appiah flew out at the weekend for another of what has become a routine exercise towards his rehabilitation.
The charismatic player, who has assumed an inspirational role in the Ghana team following his injury and subsequent exclusion from the Nations Cup, is expected back in time before the Stars face Nigeria in the first quarter-finals clash at the Ohene Djan Stadium in Accra on Sunday.
