Accra Great Olympics were humiliated 5-0 by league leaders Kumasi Asante Kotoko to mark their triumphant return to the refurbished Baba Yara Stadium yesterday.

It was a sad day for the Dade boys, who travelled to Kumasi without their head coach, Nii Adu Sackey, and his assistant, Abdul Aziz, and who found no answers to the potent strikes of Kotoko.

The Porcupine Warriors roared to a 3-0 lead by the end of the first half and stepped into top gear in the second half but could only add two more.

Leading goal scorer, Eric Bekoe, took his goal tally to seven after scoring a hat-trick and contributed to the other two. He opened the scores in the fifth minute when he capitalised on Oly's defensive blunder and fired past goalkeeper Ben Mensah.

Dan Nii Adjei increased the tally to two in the 15th minute and Bekoe was on hand to make it three in the 24th minute.
Oly really went through some hectic moments such that even when they were presented with a penalty to reduce the margin, arrowhead Emmanuel Clottey wasted the opportunity on the second half.

Bekoe and Francis Akwafo completed the annihilation with beautiful two goals as Oly players broke down into some inconsolable moments.
