Action-Packed Boxing Duels Tonight

The Prisons Canteen in Accra comes alive with action tonight with 30 boxers featuring on the Greater Accra Amateur boxing league bill.

Oblitey Commey, a product of the Square Deal Gym, raises the curtain tonight when he faces Joe Annoh of Billy Kotey Gym in a bantamweight contest.

There will be three welterweight bouts on the bill. These include Daniel Munko of the Bronx Gym and Attoh Quarshie's King Paul, while Ishmael Tetteh of the Will Power Gym fights Ebo Electric of Ashaiman. John Yeboah of Rangers Gym will slug it out with Adjetey Monney of the Attoh Quarshie Gym.

In the only light heavyweight contest of the evening, Abdulai Rauf of Bronx Gym fights Mawuli Akpalu of Ashaiman, while Prince Parry of Bukom Gym fights Jacob Kotey of the B. Kotey Gym in the light welterweight.

David Kodjo of Dade Gym will fight Godwin Aryee of Liase Gym in another light welterweight contest.

There will be three bouts in the middleweight division. Fuseini Yalo of De-Oak Gym fights Felix Agbozo of Ashaiman, while Theophilus O. Doudu of Bukom Gym matches De-Oak's Stephen Abbey pound for pound. Victor Entsiwa of Sagacious Gym will fight Mike Sackey of Liase.

Francis Adams of Bronx Gym fights Eric Addy of Will Power in a lightweight contest while Ofei Dodoo who fights from the Attoh Quarshie Gym slugs it out with Yaya Afra Sackey of Sagacious.

Black Panthers' Gym's Ofori Quaye Wilson squares off with Joshua Addy of Attoh Quarshie in the last lightweight bout.

In the last two contests, Solomon Mensah of Akotoku Academy fights Victor Kuwornu of Bronx Gym while Mike Pappoe of Panix Gym fights Abraham Osei Wusu, all in the featherweight division.
