Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag will make a decision on the futures of defensive duo Victor Lindelof and Scott McTominay in the upcoming summer transfer window, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Lindelof, who has been a key player for United since joining the club in June 2017, reportedly attracted interest from Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid during the January transfer window. Meanwhile, McTominay has been linked with a move to Newcastle United.
It remains to be seen whether the Red Devils will keep both players or part ways with one or both of them, but ten Hag will have a major say in the matter. The Dutch manager, who joined the club in April 2022, has been assessing the squad since his arrival and is expected to make changes to the team in the summer.
Lindelof, a Swedish international, has made about 148 appearances for United and is highly regarded for his composure and ball-playing abilities. McTominay, a Scottish international, has been a versatile presence in midfield and has also played in defense for the club.
As the summer transfer window approaches, United fans will be eagerly awaiting news on the futures of Lindelof and McTominay. The club will be looking to build on their recent success under ten Hag and strengthen the squad ahead of next season.
