Richard Kingson has been relieved of his duties as the goalkeepers' trainer for the Black Stars, the local media have reported.
The former Ghana international has been part of the Black Stars technical team for years.
According to multiple reports, the Ghana Football Association [GFA] will appoint an expatriate to train the shot-stoppers of the national side before the doubleheader against Angola as Chris Hughton begins work as the new head coach of the team.
Kingson was reappointed as the goalkeepers' coach about a year ago, after his first two-year stint with the Black Stars from 2017-2019.
Chris Hughton was appointed as the head coach of the Black Stars last month after serving as the technical advisor of the team for a year.
The former Tottenham manager replaced Otto Addo who stepped down after Ghana's group-stage exit from the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
Ghana will face Angola in a doubleheader in the 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifiers on the 23rd and 27th of March at Kumasi and Luanda respectively.
