Matheus Medieros De Souza begins training with Asante Kotoko

Brazilian forward, Matheus Medieros De Souza has begun training with Asante Kotoko after his move to the club in the ongoing transfer window.

The 26-year-old joined the Ghana Premier League side on a six-month loan deal with an option for a one-year option to extend.

The enterprising left-footed forward is expected to boost the Reds’ striking department in their quest to achieve their season target, with goals and assists which are his trademarks.

Ahead of Kotoko’s Premier League trip to Anyinase to face Karela United in midweek, the Brazilian has joined his teammates in training as they prepare for the clash.

Matheus Medieros previously played for South Korean third-tier outfit Paju Citizen FC where he scored two goals in 11 matches.

He becomes the second player to sign for the Porcupine Warriors after Rashid Nortey this window.

Matheus is the third Brazilian to join us after successful spells with Michael Vinicius and Fabio Gama.
