NOV 28, 2021 LISTEN

Karela United on Sunday afternoon held Asante Kotoko to a goalless draw to bring the winning streak of the Reds to an end.

The Porcupine Warriors after an excellent start to the 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League season are deservedly top of the league table.

Today, the team from Kumasi played as a guest to Karela United hoping to make it five wins out of five matches in the Ghana Premier League.

Despite playing very well in the first 45 minutes of the game, the in-from club was forced to do a lot of defending in the second half.

This is due to a red card shown to defensive midfielder Richard Boadu in the 63rd minute.

Karela United capitalised on the man advantage and took the game to Asante Kotoko.

Unfortunately, there were no goals as both teams settled for a draw at the end of the game.

Although Asante Kotoko dropped points, the team is still top of the Ghana Premier League table with 13 points.
