2021/22 GPL Week 4: Asante Kotoko 2-0 Eleven Wonders – Porcupine Warriors continue impressive run

Ghanaian giants, Asante Kotoko have stretched their winning streak to four in the Ghana Premier League following a deserved 2-0 win against Techiman Eleven Wonders on Saturday night.

The Porcupine Warriors club marched into today’s contest of the 2021/2022 Ghanaian top-flight league campaign sitting pretty at the summit of the league table.

Knowing that King Faisal dropped points on Friday, Asante Kotoko have secured a vital win that sees the team open a three-point gap at the top of the league table.

In today’s encounter, youngster Samuel Boateng scored in the 28^th minute to shoot the home team into the lead at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

With the team continuing to dominate Eleven Wonders, talented teenager Isaac Oppong scored in the 77^th minute to propel Asante Kotoko to a 2-0 win at the end of the 90 minutes.

Courtesy of the three points amassed today, Asante have an early advantage over defending champions Hearts of Oak who are yet to record a single win in the ongoing league season.
