Hearts of Oak head coach, Samuel Boadu has insisted he is confident of their Caf Champions League group phase qualification chances.
The Ghana Premier League side recorded a 1-0 against Wydad Atheltic Club in the first leg of the preliminary round on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
A first-half strike from Isaac Mensah was enough for the Phobians to record a slim win over the Moroccan side.
Boadu has assured the club's teeming supporters to rally behind the team as they make a trip to the North Africa country next weekend for the reverse fixture at the Stade Mohammed V.
Speaking after the game, Boadu said his side have enough quality to make it to the next phase of the CAF Champions League.
“We have learnt a lot from this game [against WAC]. We'll surely manage our style of play in the return leg tie for a good outcome in Morocco,” Boadu told reporters after the game.
“The fans shouldn't give up and that's our motto ‘Never Say Die'. We are travelling to Morocco to qualify for the next stage of the competition.
Hearts of Oak will travel to Casablanca for the second leg tie against Wydad on Sunday, October 24.
The winner of the tie qualifies for the group phase of the Caf Champions League.
