Togbe Afede XIV, the Majority shareholder and the Board Chairman of Hearts of Oak has assured that the club will be debt-free by the end of this year.

According to him, despite the club’s numerous infrastructural obligations and the financial uncertainty brought about by the Covid-19 Pandemic, he is determined to reverse the club’s financial fortunes.

“Our promise is, notwithstanding all of these developments by way of infrastructure to make Accra Hearts of Oak debt-free by the end of the year," he said at the unveiling of Hearts of Oak’s new jerseys for the 2021/2022 season on Thursday.

“Hearts of Oak will be a very unique club in this context. Almost every club in the world is in difficulty,” he added
