Kotoko on the brink of landing sponsorship deal with a renowned bank

Ghana Premier League outfit, Asante Kotoko are in talks with three banks in the country as they bid to seal a sponsorship deal with a financial institution.

Having been appointed as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the Porcupine Warriors club last year, Nana Yaw Amponsah has been working hard to bring on board a number of sponsors to help generate funds for the club.

With a lot of success in the area in the past year, the young CEO has decided not to stop but lead his outfit to bring on board more sponsors and partners to help the Kumasi-based club to grow.

In the latest information gathered by Modernghana Sports, Nana Yaw Amponsah and his management team at Asante Kotoko have in the past few weeks been in talks with officials of three banks including Universal Merchant Bank (UMB), Absa Bank, and Fidelity Bank.

While nothing concrete is agreed yet, sources say the possibility of reaching an agreement with Absa is very high due to the advanced stage of talks.

Already, Asante Kotoko boasts of juicy partnership deals with Hisense, Star Assurance, Star Life, Errea, Veo, Ceek, GOIL, and several others.
