Bechem United have named striker Hafiz Wontah Konkoni as the club’s Player of the Month award winner for March.
Although the Bechem-based club did not start the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season with the award scheme, they have introduced it for the second round of the campaign.
Last month when the ongoing league season resumed, Bechem United played one match where they drew 1-1 against Ebusua Dwarfs.
With Hafiz Konkoni starring in that stalemate and finding the back of the net to earn a point for the team, he has been named as the Player of the Month for March.
The highly-rated attacker on Wednesday was presented with a trophy and expected to receive GH400.00 cash as well.
The Player of the Month will be awarded at the end of the remaining months in the Ghana Premier League.
Management of Bechem United hopes it motivates players to give their all to help the team finish well on the league table at the end of the season.
