Ghanaian forward Emmanuel Gyasi has made history in the Italian Serie A on Saturday afternoon.

The 24-year-old was on the scoresheet twice in Spezia Calcio 2-2 draw against Parma.

Spezia Calcio managed to hold Parma Calcio to a 2-2 home stalemate at the Stadio Alberto Picco.

Parma Calcio ended the first half in a 2-0 lead via goals scored by Yann Karamoh and Hernani on the 17th and 25th minute respectively.

Spezia did get their goal eventually, as Maggiore controlled down the right, juggled it forward and whipped in the cross so Emmanuel Gyasi just had to prod it over the line from a couple of yards.

The pressure paid off, as after M’Bala Nzola saw his volley charged down, the move continued and Verde put a ball low and hard into the six-yard box from the left, where Gyasi tapped in again.

The Italian-born Ghanaian striker lasted for the entire duration of the game.

Gyasi has scored four goals and provided four assists in his 26 game outings for Spezia Calcio this season so far.
