Newly-appointed head coach for Legon Cities FC, Coach Bashir Hayford says he is elated to be back in the Ghana Premier League.
The experienced tactician was appointed by the Royal club last month to replace German coach Goran Barjaktarevic.
At his official unveiling by Legon Cities FC today, Coach Bashir Hayford says returning to take up a coaching job in the Ghanaian top-flight league gives him great delight.
“I am very excited and happy to be back in the Ghana Premier League. The feeling is great. I thank the management of Legon Cities FC for recognizing my immense efforts and contributions to Ghana football,” the former Black Queens Coach said.
In the past, Coach Bashir Hayford led Asante Kotoko and Ashanti Gold to Ghana Premier League triumphs.
At Legon Cities FC, he will be expected to get the team to perform at the top level and hopefully try to challenge for the league title when they find their rhythm.
