Midfielder Elvis Opoku has been adjudged the Nasco ‘Man of the Match’ after his excellent performance for Legon Cities FC on Saturday evening against Berekum Chelsea in the Ghana Premier League.

The midfielder joined the Royal club in the transfer window from Aduana Stars on transfer deadline day to provide a squad boost for the capital-based club.

Marking his debut for Legon Cities FC today, Elvis Opoku bossed the middle of the field at the Accra Sports Stadium as he helped his new club to earn a draw at the end of the 90 minutes.

Assessing the performance of players on the Matchday, the midfielder has been selected as the outstanding performer and has been named the ‘Man of the Match.

For his reward, Elvis Opoku goes home with a brand new mobile phone plus a men’s hair grooming machine, all from appliance masters, NASCO.

On the Matchday, Stephen Amankona and Jonah Attuquaye both scored from the penalty spot in the first half for Berekum Chelsea and Legon Cities FC respectively to ensure each club earned a point at the end of the 90 minutes.
