Defender Harrison Afful scored for his Columbus Crew outfit on Wednesday night when the team suffered a 1-2 defeat to Orlando City SC in the Major League Soccer.
The veteran defender has been in outstanding form this season for the Ohio-based club, boasting of starting roles in most of the matches played.
In a Matchday 22 fixture of the ongoing campaign at the Exploria Stadium, Harrison Afful was called into action once again as he partnered his compatriot Jonathan Mensah and two others to form the defensive setup of Columbus Crew.
The full-back dazzled with his defensive play and helped the away team with their attack whenever he bumped forward.
In the second half, Harrison Afful displayed his goal-scoring prowess as he scored in the 56th minutes to draw level for Columbus Crew after the team had trailed from the first half courtesy of a strike from Chris Mueller for Orlando City.
Lasting the entire duration of a game that ended as a defeat for Crew, the Ghana defender merited a rating of 7.6 from SofaScore, making him the highest-rated player on his team.
Later in the second half, Benji Michel scored the winning goal for Orlando City after he was assisted by star performer Pereyra in the 85th minute.
