Former Hearts of Oak fan favorite, Charles Taylor has indicated that he will be delighted to see the club lift the Ghana Premier League title at the end of the 2020/2021 football season.
Nicknamed the Phobians, the Ghanaian giants have failed to win the enviable title for the past decade but hopes to end the shameful drought in the upcoming season.
Speaking in an interview with Hot FM, Charles Taylor has backed Hearts of Oak to win the league while noting that the side has a very good team with quality materials.
“Per what am seeing, this year is the year Hearts of oak must do something to win the Ghana Premier League because of the quality that they have currently both playing body technical team and management”, the former Hearts of Oak player noted.
According to the forward who also played for Asante Kotoko in the past, it will excite him a lot if the capital-based club manages to win the Ghana Premier League.
“I will be delighted if Hearts Of Oak win this year league trophy but they need to work hard”, he added.
Hearts of Oak will kick off its campaign in the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season in an away match against Aduana Stars on November 15.
