Ghanaian forward Bernard Arthur has expressed his joy after sealing his move to Albanian top-flight club FK Apolonia in the ongoing summer transfer window.

The attacker featured for Ghana Premier League outfit Hearts of Oak during the 2019/2020 football season.

Unfortunately, he struggled for playing time and had to end his stint with the side after the campaign was canceled as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic.

As the 2020/2021 football seasons start in various countries, Bernard Arthur has joined FK Apolonia to give the side a squad boost.

Speaking on his move, the forward says it feels great and is focused to ensure he delivers to help the club.

“It feels great for me. After ending my stint with Hearts I was into serious training and had my agents working. I’m happy with the move but its normal thing for me because that is not only foreign club I have featured for”, the 23-year old told Bryt FM.

He added, “It is a good thing to have a job but what I have to do now is to focus and deliver. I don’t have to celebrate about this”.

With a difficult spell at Hearts of Oak behind him, Bernard Arthur is now hoping to put that campaign behind him as he opens a new chapter at FK Apolonia.
