Head coach for Asante Kotoko, Maxwell Konadu is calling for support for new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Nana Yaw Amponsah to ensure he succeeds.
Last Friday, August 7, 2020, the board of directors of the Ghana Premier League record holders at a ceremony at the Sports Hotel in Kumasi unveiled Nana Yaw Amponsah as the new CEO of the club.
Speaking to journalists on the sidelines of the announcement, Coach Maxwell Konadu has emphasized the need for the former chairman of Phar Rangers to be fully backed.
“Finally he has now been unveiled. So now everybody is happy, he is here. We just hope that he will get all the necessary support for him to work well.
“We will all give him our support for the team to achieve its goals”, the Kotoko head coach said in an interview on the sidelines of Nana Yaw Amponsah’s unveiling.
The young football administrator has been given a 3-year mandate and will be expected to bring his expertise to bear to restore the club to the status of an elite club on the continent.
