Board Member of Accra Hearts of Oak, Mr. Frank Nelson has called on supporters of the club to trust the board with regards to the ongoing works at Pobiman Academy Project.

After several years of waiting, works have finally commenced on the Project which will see the Ghana Premier League outfit boast of ultra-modern infrastructure deserving of the status of the team.

After touring the Pobiman site to inspect ongoing works on the Academy Project, Frank Nelson has called for strong backing from supporters of the Rainbow family.

“We are appealing to our supporters to have trust in the board. The project is progressing very well”, the Hearts of Oak board members said in an interview with Sikka FM.

Addressing rumors suggesting that a number of players will be offloaded in the summer transfer window, Frank Nelson has refuted the claims but says the door is opened if a player wants to leave.

“If a player decides not to play for hearts, it won't be a big deal. There has been no information on the contract expiration and renewal of certain players.

“No player will be forced to play for hearts. There is freedom of movement. We can only engage them in contract talks”, the football administrator said.
