Hearts of Oak Board Chairman, Togbe Afede XIV has donated food items to the National Chief Imam Dr. Sheikh Osman Sharubutu ahead of this year’s Eid Ramadan celebrations.
This year, the Ramadan commenced on April 23 and is expected to end on May 23. During that 30 day period, Muslims in Ghana and across the world have observed a dawn to dusk fasting as required during the holy month.
Ahead of the conclusion of the fasting next weekend, Togbe Afede XIV who is also the President of National House of Chiefs has made a donation to the National Chief Imam towards the celebrations that will follow.
In the absence of the bankroller of the Phobians, board member of the club, Alhaji Akanbi, and board member of Pioneer Kitchen Ware, Alhaji Abdul Rahman Issaka made the donations on his behalf.
Some of the items presented to the National Chief Imam are bags of rice, bags of sugar, and others.
