
A host of British and international stars, turned out to the hugely anticipated OK! Nigeria London launch party held at the Nigeria High Commission on Monday 19 March 2012. A huge crowd gathered outside the venue following the success of the glossy magazine's launch event in Lagos sponsored by MTN, Africa's leading telephone provider.
Founder of Northern and Shell, Sir Richard Desmond and OK! Nigeria publisher, Alexander Amosu celebrated the first edition amongst high profile dignitaries and glitterati from the entertainment and film industry such as international star Thandie Newton, Grammy nominated singer/songwriter Tiwa Savage and leading Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade Ekeinde.

Other celebrity guests at the event included actors Chucky Venn and Jimmy Akingbola, footballer Danny Shittu, comedienne Jocelyn Jee Esien (Miss Jocelyn) TV personality Vanessa Feltz, BBC news presenter Brenda Emmanus to name a few.

Guests were treated to drinks by Armand de Brignac champagne and Iceberg Vodka shots, cake by Delights by Cynthia, premium chocolate by A3ACube and of course the first edition of OK! Nigeria. Following the launch, the after party was held at the exclusive Aura Mayfair where guests danced the night away in celebration.

OK! Magazine's first African edition – and 20th country edition – promises exclusive interviews with Nigeria's elite and prominent international celebrities. It will be available through subscription internationally and is due to hit the stands across Nigeria on April 1.
