Akufo-Addo Birthday Faces The COVID-19 Challenges

Our president Nana Addo is 76 years old today. The good people of Ghana will want to wish you a happy birthday anniversary. Ghanaians pray for long life and wisdom upon your life for you to be able to lead this beautiful country, Ghana.

Although today marks your birthday we very sure you aren't happy and wouldn't want to celebrate it at all. Today should have been one of the remarkable days in your life but Covid-19 has made it an immortal one: it is the day you won't forget in your lifetime. This year has been a tough one for you as you have to find remedies to Covid-19.

It is in this year that you thought of celebrating your 76th birthday with the whole people of Ghana only for Covid-19 to snatch all your beautiful plans away. This period we are in in Ghana is very tough for you and for us all.

The joy of throwing a party for your loved ones has been blocked by this pandemic. Your birthday message has been “I will do everything within my power as a father for the people of Ghana as far as our battle against Covid-19 is concerned.” Thank you for this wonderful birthday message!

Do not rest dear president until you have found peace for Ghanaians. Fight for the land even though your age may not come with that strength to fight the virus- but the “mind that never grows old” will help you defeat Covid-19.
