Not Speed - But Many Travelers

Many drivers falsely presume festive seasons to be a time to make wealth. Over the years, they were influenced by this notion to engage in speedy driving at such times as this. They thought this will help them to make more sells and more money. Unfortunately, the only evident result of such speedy driving at Christmas times is the lost of families and friends. My question is, has festivities like Christmas ever prospered any driver? Is there a testimony of any driver who became prosperous though Christmas sales?

Driver, drive carefully! We must understand that drivers with certainty will make more sales and more money during Christmas. This is because many more people are travel during Christmas while the number of vehicles remains almost the same. Speed driving is not the guarantee; but the fact that more people are travelling. If you are a driver, you should know that increase travel during the Christmas season has already guaranteed high sales for you. So drive safe.

Driver, drive safe! If you reading this article know any driver, please help them understand that only they will convey all the travellers; so they should just relax and drive. We are all yours to convey. All the Christmas pilgrims, the president, office workers, market workers, and all others shall surely be transported by the driver. So also are all our monies (T&T) for you to take. These monies are all yours, drivers. Rest assured.

Driver, relax and drive! You know what? No other person transports us to our destinations, only you drivers do. The fact be told, we have no other means of getting to where we are going except you. Therefore, just relax and drive. We are waiting for no one else but you at the bus terminals or stations. Relax, drive, convey our fellow compatriots to their destinations safely. Then be alive and come back to send us also – we are waiting patiently at the station; for just you driver.

To end my Christmas message to you, dear drivers, drink not to drive, no drunk driving; no over-speeding; no overtaking on hills, corners or inappropriate points. Please do not forget that it is not the speed that increases your sales, but that many people are travelling during Christmas. Be safe and come back for us at the station.

I wish to use this opportunity to appreciate the efforts of the Ghana Police Service for their effort over the years to reduce crimes and indecent driving during the festive season by increasing their visibility across the length and breadth of the country. Dear reader, if you find yourself in any vehicle or meet any driver, please let them know what you have read in this article: that it is not speed, but many travelers that increases their sales and money.
