This knowledge guides our mindsets to defend the Word to ensure salvation to the world.

"Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;"

When your mind lack the knowledge of the word, it becomes idle.

And it paves way for the enemy to strike at you.
The helmet of salvation which happens to be the head should always be fed with the Word of God.
