I Siddon Jeje De Laugh At Kofi Portuphy And His Desperados (Part 2)

Feature Article I Siddon Jeje De Laugh At Kofi Portuphy And His Desperados Part 2
MAY 17, 2017 LISTEN

I laughed my head off when I saw Kofi Adams (herein now referred to as Kofi Adamu, according Alfred Agbesi Woyome) in company 0f Kofi Portuphy, Asiedu Nketia and all the Kofi-Kofis in the contraption peddling litany of lies against the NPP. Wasn’t it this Kofi Adams who alleged that some members of the NDC wanted to assassinate him on the Accra-Tema Motorway between 11,30pm and 11.40 pm on Wednesday, November, 2010? Refer to Daily Guide’s story by Charles Takyi Boadu on Friday, November 12, 2010. “J.J’S Boy attacked” was the headline. ”Mr. Adams disclosed that he has been getting calls and receiving several text messages on his mobile phone both from members of his party and outside the party with some asking him to shut his mouth or else they would kill him”.

NDC foot soldiers chased the MCE of Yendi out of his office with arms and out of Yendi Township. What did the NDC do? Not even a verbal reprimand was issued to the marauding foot soldiers. And a whole Police Commander in the Municipality told the country that the Police could not apprehend the miscreants who committed such abominable act because the attack had political elements.

And what are these NDC Buccaneers telling Ghanaians? We leave their pettiness and incongruous behavior to History, for History will judge they and their families harshly. Were the trouble shooters arrested? Did the Presidency condemned such outrageous behavior? Compare what their Government did with the action taken by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and one cannot help but conclude that Kofi Portuphy, Kofi Adams and all the vultures, hawks, rabid dogs, tarantulas, snarling snakes/serpents and the cockroaches in their contraption are agents of Lucifer who must not be let loose in any decent society. Ghanaians can now see the difference in style of administration between Current President and “God’s Own Elect”, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and that of Mills/Mahama. Under the Rule of Law is pursued vigorously, while under the former, kangaroo justice system was in operation.

I refer readers to “Daily Graphic of Monday, April 27, 2009, page 14 (Politics). The headline was “NDC feuding factions clash over Lorry Park. The story was by Rose Hayford Darko and Russell Ocloo from Ashiaman. Part of the story reads “ A clash between two feuding factions of the NDC over Lorry Park at Ashiaman resulted in the injury of several people including activists of the party. All the injured were discharged but five of them were asked to return to the hospital on April, 27, 2009 for the bullets embedded in their bodies to be removed”.

Maybe, maybe, Kofi Portuphy, Kofi Adamu and the rest of the Big Ogas in the NDC have short memories, but Ghanaians like, Citizen Daniel Danquah Damptey don’t. Have they forgotten so soon the severe beatings the former Eastern Regional Women’s’ Organizer, Evelyn Koran received from party Executives from Akwatia Constituency, at the office of the DCE for Kwaebibirim, Mr. Agyeman- Dua. The MCE had to give the former Women’s Organizer his jacket to use as an improvised blouse after the men had turned her blouse into shreds.

At Akwatia, during the re-run election in 2009, one Yaw Darkwa, an NDC activist and a devotee of Church of Satan was seen firing a pistol in broad day light. What did the Police and the NDC do? Nothing! Today, the scallywag is walking the streets of Akwatia a free person.

In the same Re Run Election, NDC thugs and its leadership insisted that Honourable Dan Botwe, the duly accredited Agent in one of the Polling Stations be removed election could begin. And Dan was forcefully removed with the active connivance of the Police.

The Bye Election in Atiwa followed the same trend. At Abomoso in the Atiwa Constituency, the Jezebel of our time, Anita de Soso ruthlessly and recklessly drove her vehicle through a barricade of human beings who were out to fish out infiltrators who had laid siege on the town. Her ungodly and anti-social behavior resulted in three of the victims being maimed for life. When she was asked to apologize, this uncouth, callous, wicked and demented agent of Lucifer retorted that she owed nobody any apology and that was that. What did the NDC do? Nothing! Yet, this apostles of destabilization talk of lawlessness in the country!

During the Talensi Bye Election, Kofi Portuphy, who today is talking like a fish out of water brought out one AK47 and fired several rounds of ammunition into the air to scare people from going out to cast their votes? Did he have a license to use a gun which is in the exclusive custody of the Police and other law enforcement agencies?

Again, Kofi Portuphy, Kofi Adamu, Kofi Asiedu Nketia and all the Kofi Kofis in the NDC talk about seizure of public institutions. WOULD Kofi Portuphy, the NDC National Chairman be kind enough to tell us how he became the head of NADMO, and if he had any appointment letter, he should bring it out. What happened was this. Immediately after NPP had lost the elections, he (Kofi Portuphy) together with his thugs went and seized NADMO Head quarters and declared himself National Co-coordinator.

We have not forgotten the antics of a past editor of Palaver newspaper which serves as a propaganda machinery for their party, Joojo Bruce Quansah. He was sued for defamation and judgment was awarded against him. To court public sympathy, Joojo Bruce Quansah slaughtered a fowl and smeared its blood on himself. He then made a report to the police that he had been attacked and wounded by hired assassin. The whole thing was proved to be a hoax.

I f a member of such contraption could concoct such a bizarre story to attract attention to himself like what Mahama Ayariga, Okudzeto Ablakwa , Sampson Ahi and other notorious NDC MPS’s did when they made unfounded allegations against a ministerial nominee, what else could they not do to smear their political opponents?

You see, a few days after the hand over to Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, the NDC alleged that the residence of the Ghana’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Siad Sinare had been attacked by hoodlums in Riyadh. I told my colleagues that such a thing could not happen in Saudi Arabia. Lo and behold, I was proved right. You see, the NDC members are masters in group mind manipulation who can conjure facts and figures from nowhere to make you believe against your better judgment such a thing is true.

There is a saying in Twi that, “Se asem ba a okwasea tu fo”. Translated literally it means a fool gets the opportunity to give counsel when a situation arises. And so it is that the NDC can open its big mouth and bad mouth government because of the liberal policies introduced by Nana Akufo Addo’s administration.

Worse things had happened under Mills/Mahama’s administration but the leadership never condemned them. This was exemplified by Ras Mubarak when he was attacked by hoodlums with links to the Presidency.

Party foot soldiers destroyed tender documents in the course of a demonstration in the Northern part of the country. This is a criminal offence, but the miscreants were never apprehended.

The NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Abuakwa South Constituency in the 2012 Election was teaching at Abuakwa State College, K ibi and he was the culprit behind the desecration of the School land. He wielded absolute power in the school and became untouchable. The Headmaster could not bring him to order because of his position as a candidate of the ruling party. A student even died in one of the uncovered pits as a result of galamsey activities engaged in by the NDC Parliamentary Candidate. This is an uncontestable fact because an arbitration panel made up of the DCE and other top party officials made him to pay compensation to the school, which he did. So all those blaming the Okyenhene, Osagyefuo Amoatia Ofori Panin ll for galamsey activities in Kibi should go and ask the NDC Officials in the town.

What else did NDC foot soldiers not do during Mills/ Mahama administration? On Wednesday, September 8, 2010, Police at Effiduase in Ashanti Region had to fire several gunshots to disperse rampaging foot soldiers of the NDC who nearly lynched the Regional Minister, Honourable Kofi Opoku Manu.

On Thursday, 10th February, 2011, the Wench MCE, Nana Yaw Osei Adjei escaped from being lynched by irate youth of the ruling NDC who stormed his office. The report was captured by Joy Online of Friday, 11th February, 2011. Under the headline, “Wenchi MCE flees from NDC foot soldiers. This is how Joy Online captured the incident.

“The NDC youth, who embarked on a peaceful street protest earlier i9n the Wenchi Municipality earlier in the day to press home their demand for the immediate removal of the MCE, later marched to the Municipal Assembly to present their petition to State Officials there. Upon arrival, a section of the demonstrators wanted to force their way into Mr. Adjei’s office to drag him out and give him a sound beating. However, armed policemen who were on guard prevented them from executing their intended action.

It is of interest that the uncertainties and lawlessness in the country reached a crescendo when an armoured vehicle was placed at the entrance to the Trade Fair Site at a time late President, Professor Evans Fiifi Atta Mills was having a meeting with his so called brethren in the Nefarious Destructive Cancer. What at all will lead to the presence of an armoured Personnel Carrier at the venue of a meeting attended by members of the same contraption? This was the extent of how serious and unsafe the country had deteriorated under Mills presidency. That of Mahama did not fare better either. Under the two fumbling and wobbling presidents, there were “daggers in men’s smiles even amongst close relatives.

We have not forgotten the callous and shabby treatment given to ACP Awuni Anwubutoge after he had effected the arrest of the Greater Accra Regional Minister, Nii Afotey Agbo. He was hounded from his position as Greater Accra Regional Police Commander and sent to the Eastern Region, ostensibly as the Regional Commander but in actual fact he had no such powers. In was such insensitive and shabby treatment meted out to him that broke his mighty heart and he succumbed to the cruel fate of death.

A similar treatment was also extended to former Police Commander of Greater Accra, ACP Dampare. After a thorough investigation into the death of Honourable J.B.Danquah (Late MP for Abuakwa North) his report was completely at variance with that of the BNI, The Mahama’s administration found his presence in the capital too close for comfort and therefore sent him to a police workshop at Winneba.

Under the clueless administration of late President Professor Atta Mills aka “Baba Go Slow” and his successor, John Dramani Mahama aka “Danger Boy riding a bicycle without brakes down a sloppy hill, Ghanaians could not sleep with even one eye close. We stood still with both eyes widely open throughout the night. In fact, we did not sleep at all.

You see, the NDC while in opposition had made so much noise about the death of the Ya Nah and promised to delve re-open the matter when it came to power. The NPP had in its custody three members of the security services in its custody. The suspects were duly handed over to the NDC came to power in 2009. But do you know what happened? Wait and I will give you the “filla”. They let one of the accused persons escape from lawful custody. The irony of the whole saga was that the public was kept in the dark until six months after the culprit had escaped. This was to give the escapee enough time to cover his tracts. What is different between the escape of this suspect in such a high profile case and that of the Delta Force? Were we safe under clueless Mills and his appendage, Mahama?

I cannot end this write-up without making reference to some security breaches that occurred in our body politics. Here, I want to touch on the abduction of the Tuobodomhene from his Palace by agent of the Takyimanhene who sent him to the palace of the latter. There, he was stripped naked, beaten and subjected all forms of indignity. Once again, it took the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu ll to publicly announce that he would arrest the Takyimanhene should he set foot in any part of Asanteman. It was then that the Security Capos woke up from their deep slumber. Both the National Security Coordinator and the National Security Advisor claimed they knew nothing about the incident. Were we safe under those clueless leaders?

Less I forget, it is pertinent at this juncture to mention that a constitutional crisis was averted by the matured attitude exhibited by the Justices of the Supreme Court. Immediate past President, Clueless John Dramani Mahama said Ghanaians have short memory. I would like to correct such wrong assumption for record purpose. It is rather NDC apparatchiki who have short memory. Kofi Portuphy and Kofi Adamu, Asiedu Nketia and others who today are singing discordant tunes have forgotten so soon how signed a petition to coerce the President to release three miscreants who had been duly convicted by the highest court of the land. This was against the background of sound legal advice by the President’s Legal Advisor.

That singular Presidential pardon was reckless, stupid, undemocratic, repulsive and the height of impunity. If My Lords (Temporal) had not exercised restraint, but had acted in a manner to show “who was who”, the country might have been plunged into an abyss.

You see, the Leadership of the Nefarious Destructive Cancer discourse like angels, but they live like ordinary mortals. The hardship Ghanaians endured the two successive clueless NDC presidents will take long to evaporate from our memory.

The leadership of the Nefarious Destructive Cancer is bereft of ideas and they feel that the only way they can become relevant in the scheme of affairs in the country is to throw darts at President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, “The People’s Man” and “God’s Own Elect”. But the evil machinations of these” Yesterday Men” will come to nothing. This is because, the people are in tandem with Nana Akufo Addo and God is also with him.

I have also given copious examples of various acts of destabilization embarked upon by lawless zealots from the NDC stables. One Deputy Minister even went to the ridiculous extent by telling NDC supporters to slap any opponent of the party who speaks ill of the NDC. Another Deputy Minister went quixotic by levying a fine on Nana Ohene Ntow (then General Secretary of the NPP) for turning his official residence into a “shito-making” factory.

Now, for the first time since 2009, Ghanaians are enjoying a serene atmosphere – thanks to the liberal minded President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, a Man of the People and God’s Own Elect. It is no secret that the duo of De Clerk and Nelson Mandela brought Apartheid to an end, whilst Mikhail Gorbachev is credited with policies which led to the dismantling of Soviet Union whose resultant effect was the end of Communism. But Our President with such a charismatic personality and a Polyglot for that matter is a combination of the trio of De Clerk, Mandela and Gorbachev.

Majority of Ghanaians see him as the Founder of the New Ghana Nation. No wonder they prefer to call him “God’s Own Elect”.
