Tema, April 20, GNA - The April Monthly Medal Golf competition of the Tema Country Golf Club will be held at Tema on Saturday, April 24. A spokesman for the club, who announced this at Tema on Tuesday, said the one-day 18-hole Stable-ford competition, which is being sponsored by the Club, is open to the four Greater Accra Regional Golf Clubs. He named the clubs as Tema, the host, Celebrity of Sakumono, Achimota and the Bok Nam Kim Golf Clubs.
The Achimota team to be led by their captain, Mr Samuel Adetola include Dan Dennis, Gilbert Morgan and E.Y.G. Kumordzie, all former captains of the club, Nick Smallman and Michael Aggrey. The Ladies section would also have Mona Captan, Beatrice Bempong, Yaa Sarfo-Debrah and Ama Morgan.
The participants are to use the event to sharpen their strokes and prepare them for the Tema Open and other major competitions. 20 April 04
