Human Rights Day: 21st March 2012, Walter Sisulu Square, Kliptown

PRETORIA, South-Africa, March 19, 2012/African Press Organization (APO)/ -- Human Rights Day will be commemorated on 21st March 2012 at the Walter Sisulu Square, in Kliptown Soweto. The President of the Republic of South Africa, JG Zuma, will deliver a Public Lecture. Members of the media are reminded that accreditation will be conducted as follows:

Dates: 19th March 2012

20th March 2012

Times: 09h00 – 18h00 (both days)

Venue: Tourist Information Centre at the Walter Sisulu Square, Kliptown

Members of the media who have submitted their information and intend attending the event should avail themselves at the Tourism Information centre on any of the listed days to be accredited.

For the purpose of identification, please bring along ID books/drivers licence and press cards. Journalists who do not have press cards can bring a letter, with organisational letterhead, from the editor.

Also note that only accredited journalist/technicians will be allowed entry.
