The Rev. Dr. Richard Owusu Akyeaw, General Overseer of Living Grace Ministry in Sunyani at the weekend asked stated that the nation's leadership should not only to be interested in the celebration of the nation's heroes but work to improve on the foundation they have laid.

He was speaking at a ceremony to celebrate the establishment of the church and to take stock of its past activities and the way forward.

“It is important to remember our heroes as the country celebrates its 52 years of independence, but there is the need to ask how far we have gone and what can be done to save future generations”, he added.

Rev. Akyeaw stated that, the cause of Africa's woes was lack of vision on the part of the leadership as the continent was abound with all natural resources.

“The situation of Africans remains the same and it is about time Africans forget about their past and have new direction in moving forward to save future generations”, he added.

Rev. Akyeaw advised politicians to seek to promote unity among the citizenry so they could strive to help develop the country.

Rev Lawrence Gyamfi, Pastor of Odumasi branch of the church, appealed to the youth to be patient in life and wait for the appointed time of God.

He said, “God makes all things beautiful in His time and there is no need to rush ahead of His plans and purposes”.
