Two persons were killed on the spot and 10 others sustained various degrees of injuries in an accident involving three passenger vehicles on Monday at New Gomoa Potsin in the Central Region.
Speaking to the GNA on Tuesday, the Winneba Municipal MTTU Commander, ASP Emmanuel Ofori, said the dead and the injured had not yet been identified.
According to him, a Mercedes Benz 207 bus, which was overtaking another vehicle, had a head-on collision with another Mercedes Benz 207 bus and a KIA truck.
He said the bodies of the deceased had been deposited at the Winneba Government Hospital while the injured were receiving treatment at the same hospital.
