Kennedy Agyapong's campaign for president of Ghana has been plagued by severe troubling controversies due to his adverse past experiences. As the NPP politician was seen publicly threatening both Akufo Addo and Bawumia in a video that has gone viral, it appears that both his political career and presidential ambition are gradually coming to an end, since Kennedy Agyapong lacks the diplomatic skills to resolve any issue other than through verbal attacks and insults.

Many Ghanaians disagree with Kennedy Agyapong's decision to run for president of Ghana because of his ferocious anger, verbal attacks against opponents on the radio, and bitter past disputes with rivals, including the brutal murder of a Ghanaian journalist named Ahmed Hussein. In the face of such hostility from a section of the population, the controversial politician representing Assin Central on the platform of the NPP should have sober in the face of such acrimonious hostility, but he is not prepared to do that.

Kennedy Agyapong lacked the expertise to resolve any issue diplomatically and is therefore; ineligible for president.

Kennedy Agyapong hasn't expressed regret or offered an apology to Ghanaians since he chose to run for president, despite presenting Ahmed Hussein-Suale's photo on live TV and asking for people to beat him up before he was killed. There is nothing wrong with Mr. Agyapong wanting to be president; after all, people, not animals, become president. However, if I consider Mr. Agyapong's background, which includes his unprofessional conduct as a politician, he is unqualified.

Ghanaians have a tendency to forget things quickly, and many don't care if a politician has committed a crime; if they do, many politicians wouldn't still be in office. Many people in Ghana perceive nothing wrong with Mr. Agyapong's behavior and don't care whether he becomes president, even though in several other nations, he should have been in prison or long since resigned from politics. He has a lot of fans who are pushing for his candidacy, which has many NPP politicians, including the president, Nana Akufo Addo, upset.

Kennedy Agyapong has expressed vehement outrage at the destruction of his billboards supporting his presidential candidacy. Then, over the weekend, he was seen in video speaking furiously on a phone at the University of Cape Coast, in the central region, where the poll was held, threatening to challenge the president for allegedly orchestrating the expulsion of his polling agent from the voting facility.

According to him, vice president, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, who is also a candidate for the ongoing delegation conference, will also receive his "confrontation" part. He continued, “I swear to God, President Akufo-Addo, I'll give you a showdown, Vice President, I'll give you a showdown for kicking my agent for running into the room. You will hear what happens here. Yes, I swear to God that I will challenge President Akufo-Addo at any time,” he said in the vernacular.

Everyone knows that Kennedy Agyapong is a hot-tempered man who doesn’t bother to say what he likes or even what crimes his party has committed. Agyapong said that people were brought in from a neighboring African country to increase the number of votes in favor of the NPP's victory. This is hard for any politician to say, but not for Kennedy Agyapong. One question that Ghanaians still haven't bothered to ask is "What secret does Kennedy know about Akufo Addo that he doesn't fear threatening him?"

A verbal threat is behavior that shows an intention to cause harm or loss to another person; and if convicted, they face up to a year in prison, so why hasn't the Inspector General of Police yet arrested Kennedy Agyapong? Agyapong, a member of the same political party as the president, repeatedly attacks all the politicians of the NPP including Akufo Addo, insults and threatens them, and reveals their secrets without fear. What does this mean?

Knowing someone's secret gives the bearer of that secret the power to use that information against that person, and the victim has no defense. In my earlier writings about the Assin Central Parliamentarian, I stated that before he chose to run for president, he was doing all of the president's dirty job. Agyapong is utilizing the various secrets he knows about both Akufo Addo and IGP Dampare as a weapon against them.

Even though the Inspector General of Police, George Dampare, and the President; Akufo Addo will not be able to deal with his threats, Ken Agyapong should understand that his political career or ambitions to become president are truly over. His past controversies are disturbing, so if things don't matter to him and he continues behaving like that then what is left of him as a politician? The truth is that Agyapong will not be elected president by the majority of Ghanaians; therefore, he must withdraw from the race.
