Farmers, traders and entrepreneurs trained on how to Succeed with loan facility

Over a hundred persons in farming and petty trading within the Offinso North District have undergone a three-day workshop on ways to succeed in their various ventures using loan facilities from financial institutions.

The workshop which was held at Akumadan by a financial consultancy, Empowering Productive Consult (EPC) took farmers, traders and entrepreneurs through systematic and pragmatic ways of pursuing a business plan to achieve expected results.

Speaking to the media during the workshop, CEO of EPC Business consult, Kofi Adjapong indicated that his outfit would not only offer training and tips for their clients to achieve targets but would offer a helping hand in the business pursuit.

He said EPC Business consult would work hand in hand with clients throughout the loan period, laying out strategies in order to keep them on track towards success in loan recovery and profit.

"As we hand over money to them to work, we don't leave them to their fate, we keep guiding them with ideas, workshops and seminars during the period so they don't run at a lost in end.

"We are determined to help farmers, petty traders, and businessmen/women to expand their businesses and improve living standards hence our quest to equip them with business guidelines with this workshop", Kofi Adjapong explained

He also touched on interest earn by his firm saying the sole idea was to help raise the living standards of people of Offinso North with the loan but interest earn on a payback amount would be low.

In an interaction with this reporter, participants at the workshop expressed contentment with the lessons given them. "I have learnt a lot lessons, ideas and business strategies from this engagement and would take it into practice in my business venture. I have also been highlighted on better ways of handling loan to yield good results," a participant, Christiana noted.
