That’s my prayer – Sarkodie going on a musical tour with Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy

Ghanaian hip-hop giant Sarkodie has hinted at plans to start a musical tour with top dancehall acts, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale.

Sarkodie said such a project has been his prayer all along, and he hopes to make it happen very soon.

The revelation came when a listener listening to the rapper speaking in an interview on Accra-based Hitz FM’s Andy Dosty asked via text message if certain moves were possible.

The three singers, per their achievements, both internationally and locally, are arguably the biggest Ghanaian singers of all time.

Since his debut in the music space over a decade ago, Sarkodie, with his local language, Twi, has won for himself several recognitions such as BET, MTV, EMY and several others.

He recently made a historic move by featuring the legendary reggae icon Bob Marley on his "Stir It Up" remix.

On their part, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy are among the few to have raised the flag of Ghana higher on the international reggae-dancehall scene, with many laurels to their credit.

However, amid all these, the world is yet to experience their collective show, where the three of them will share a common stage, though they have shared a stage in pairs a couple of times.
