The brouhaha surrounding the music video shoot by American rapper Meek Mill at the Jubilee House has caused a stir on social media as calls for heads to roll heightens.

Ghanaians may recall how the President was excited about hosting the American hip-hop giant at his residence a couple of days ago.

Speaking during the meeting, the President indicated that "I’m so excited that my daughter Gyankroma insisted that you should come and say hello to me, and I appreciate it very much."

A statement by the President could be interpreted as though the President didn’t know Meek Mill that much to have given him a 'presidential treatment.'

The President’s statement also depicts that Meek Mill could visit the President through the protocol of Miss Gyankroma Akufo-Addo, the CEO of Ghana’s Creative Arts industry, with whom the rapper had pictures.

This will not be far-fetched for those who argue and attributes the shooting of the music video to the support of Miss Gyankroma, who was so excited about getting the US rapper to the House.

In what has been trending in Ghana's social media space, the entire country watched in amazement as the presidential seat was virtually turned as many would put it, "entertainment theatre."

American hip-hop singer Robert Rihmeek Williams, popularly known as Meek Mill, was allegedly allowed to shoot an "R"-rated music video at the Jubilee House, the seat of Ghana’s government.

This got a section of Ghanaians on social media lambasting President Akufo-Addo for reducing the security establishment so low for the American rapper, a chance no Ghanaian creative can ever get.

What seemed more annoying to the outraged citizens was the portion of the said video that was shared on social media, which captured the rapper and other colleagues having access to highly secured places as well as mounting the presidential podium.
