Following several questions by some industry players and music lovers, the French Ambassador to Ghana, H.E Anne Sophie Ave has opened why dancehall artiste Shatta Wale was excluded from the just ended maiden edition of the Accra in Paris Show.

The event which was organized by the ambassador aimed at promoting Ghanaian Afrobeats to the world and ensuring a blend of both Ghanaian and French cultures.

Held on the 23rd of April, the concert saw some renowned Ghanaian music heavyweights like Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Kwabena Kwabena, and Fameye put up great performances alongside some celebrated French musicians.

Ghanaian netizens were however not happy with the absence of Shatta Wale and wondered why he was excluded from such a mega event.

A netizen questioned the French Ambassador on the issue.

The ambassador in her reply stated that there was a requirement for the artist to meet which he failed to do so.

She however hinted that Shatta Wale may be eligible to connect with other French artists if he shows interest.
