Ghana Black Stars captain, Andre Dede Ayew was on target on Saturday afternoon to inspire his Swansea City side to an important 3-1 win against Huddersfield Town at the Liberty Stadium.

The attacker was handed a starting role to help his club look for a win to end a five-game winless run in the English Championship season.

Following a good start to the game, Swansea City who played as the home team took the lead on the 28th minute courtesy a strike from Andre Ayew.

That goal separated the Swans from Huddersfield Town at the halftime break before a pulsating encounter in the second half produced 3 goals.

A good fight from the away team saw them drawing parity on the 78th minute when Steve Mounie found the back of the net. The joy of the team could however not last as Swansea scored again through Jay Fulton two minutes later to restore their lead.

Late in the match, the third equalizer from Jordan Garrick sealed a resounding win for Swansea City whose hopes of climbing into the top five have been rekindled.

Andre Ayew now has 11 goals and 5 assists in the English Championship, establishing himself as a key asset for manager Steve Cooper.
