Emmanuel Atukwei Clottey will lead Accra Great Olympics as their captain for the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League Season, information reaching Modernghana Sports has confirmed.
The former Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker recently joined the capital-based club as a free agent from Cafetaleros de Biscucuy in Venezuela to boost the attacking department of the side as they look to make a good account of themselves when the new season starts.
Clottey who is now 32-years old has reportedly been named captain for Olympics and will wear the armband when the new season starts in December.
He was handed the captain’s armband over the last weekend when the reinstated Ghana Premier League side engaged Attram De-Visser FC in a pre-season friendly to help in their preparation for the upcoming season.
The forward managed to get his first goal for the club in a game that handed managers for both sides the opportunity to assess their players and identify departments that needs strengthening.

Having played in the Ghana Premier League in the past, the former Berekum Chelsea man has been tipped to excel at Great Olympics.
