Head coach of Trelleborgs FF, Peter Swärdh has stressed that he is confident new signing Abdul Fatawu Safiu will provide a huge boost for his attack to help his side improve their position on the Swedish Superettan table.
The direct attacker joined the Swedish based club from Ghana Premier League giant Kumasi Asante Kotoko on a one-year loan move with an option to buy at the end of the season.
Speaking in an interview after his official unveiling earlier today, Coach Peter Swärdh has indicated that Abdul Fatawu Safiu’s creative abilities to boost his squad strength in the final third.
“He (Fatawu) is creative and should strengthen our offensive qualities,” Swärdh disclosed after Fatawu completed his move.
The Ghanaian international is tipped to succeed at his new club following his impressive showing with Kotoko in the last edition of the CAF Confederations Cup as well as the GFA Normalization Committee (NC) Special Competition where he emerged as the joint top goal scorer with 11 goals.
