Felix Annan Hail His Family For Their Support After Helping Kotoko To Qualify For CAF CC Money Zone
Asante Kotoko goalkeeper, Felix Annan has hailed his family for their support after aiding his outfit to seal qualification for the CAF Confederations Cup group phase after 11 years.
Ghana's sole representative in the ongoing CAF inter-club qualified for the group phase of the competition on a 5:3 aggregate scoreline.
Kotoko won the first 3:2 in Cameroon and at the Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium, the Porcupine Warriors won the game by 2:1.
Skipper Amos Frimpong opened the score in the dying minutes of the first half through the spot after striker Sougne Yacouba was fouled in the box.
Winger Maxwell Baako sealed the win for the Porcupine Warriors in the second half with a classic goal.
Oumarou Sali reduced the tally for Coton Sport three minutes to full time to bring the score to 2-1 in favour of Asante Kotoko.
The draw for the group stage of the competition will be held on Friday.
