Oti Akenteng Impressed With Black Stars Preparation Ahead Of Kotoko Clash
Technical director as well as a member of the Liaison Committee set up by CAF/FIFA before the appointment of the Normalization Committee, Mr Oti Akenteng has disclosed that he is impressed with the training sessions of the Black Stars in Kumasi.
Mr Akenteng is currently acting as the technical person for the FIFA normalization committee and he is currently in Kumasi to report on activities relating to the technical aspect of the Black Stars.
In an interview with Angel FM, the technical director indicated that he has been sending a written report of training sessions of the Stars to the committee headed by Dr Kofi Amoah.
“I am very impressed by the Black Stars training so far. I am here to report to the normalization committee and after every session, I send a written report to them in Accra”, he said.
He continued that the intensity with what the team has been training is impressive even though their African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier with Sierra Leone has been called off.
“The intensity is fantastic and almost all the players are in top shape”.
The Black Stars with lock horns with Kumasi Asante Kotoko tomorrow at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium at 4pm.
