Inter Milan Legend Hails Kwadwo Asamoah Despite Defeat In ICC Against Chelsea

Ghana international, Kwadwo Asamoah has earned applauds from Inter Milan legend following his impressive performance in the International Champions Cup on Saturday despite their defeat.

The former Udinese Calcio midfielder joined the Nerazzurri on a free transfer from Juventus this month, having spent most of his time in Turin playing at left-back or left wing-back.

And on Saturday against Chelsea, he played in midfield and impressed the former Nerazzurri with his performance.

Speaking after the match, Bergamo says he was surprised by the Ghanaian input in the middle of the park.

"He has a great personality and individual technique,' Bergomi said on Sky.

"He knows how to protect the ball too and the play starts with him. He was a surprise even for me, in a role he hasn't played for some time now.'

He is expected to keep his place in midfield when they engage French giants Olympique Lyon in a friendly encounter on Saturday.
